I control type 2 diabetes by consuming less than 40 carb grams per day, eating full-fat dairy, beef, pork, chicken, fish, eggs, olive oil, lots of green vegetables, nuts, cheese and occasionally fruits with "berry" in their names. I had Ac1 of 8.8. Now it is 5.5. I weighed 204 lbs. Now I weight 160 lbs. And, all my cholesterol indicators are normal now. A friend of mine tried to control his diabetes with the China diet. Aside from feeling hungry nearly all the time, he did lose some weight, but he is now eating like I do and controlling his diabetes.
